Delete your Vayuh account
Vayuh is a flight tracker for Android from Vayuh LLC. You can delete your Vayuh account and the data linked to it at any time, in the app or by email. You don't need the app to ask by email.
Delete it in the app
-
Open Vayuh and sign in with the Google account you want to delete.
-
On the Home screen, tap your profile picture at the top (the account menu).
-
Tap Settings.
-
Under Account, tap Delete Account.
-
Read the summary, then tap Delete account. Vayuh may ask you to sign in with Google again to confirm it's you.
Ask by email
If you can't use the app, email privacy@vayuh.app with the subject “Delete my Vayuh account”.
- Write from the email address of the Google account you use with Vayuh, so we can match the request to your account. If you can't, say so, and we'll reply by email to confirm it's you.
- We'll confirm we've received it, and tell you when your account is deleted, within 30 days.
- If you connected Google Calendar, remove Vayuh's access yourself on your Google Account's third-party connections page: myaccount.google.com/connections.
What's deleted
- From our servers: your account, the flights you track and their booking details, your deleted-flight records, your notification tokens and your settings.
- If you delete in the app, the app's data on that phone is removed too, and if you connected Google Calendar, the app also revokes Vayuh's access to it.
What's kept, and for how long
- Google (Firebase Authentication) removes your account from its backups within 180 days.
- Server logs, which hold a shortened account ID, flight identifiers, searches (flight numbers, airports and dates), IP addresses and device details, are kept for 30 days.
- A note that the account was deleted is kept for 2 hours, so its sign-in can't be reused.
- If you accepted analytics: analytics data isn't linked to your account, so it isn't deleted with it. It expires on its own: event-level data after 2 months, and user-level data 14 months after the app last sent analytics. Crash reports expire after 90 days, and performance data after 30 or 60 days.
- Emails you send us: 2 years after your last message.
The Privacy Policy (section 10) lists everything we keep and why.
